Our Achievements
For the past 50 years, the National Association of Women and the Law has fought to advance women’s rights in Canada.
From advocating for the inclusion of a strong sex equality provision in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, to sexual assault law reform, and fighting for the decriminalization of abortion and for greater access to sexual health services, NAWL has been a strong voice for women's substantive equality since 1974.
